BEHIND THE SCENES//Miss Bella Fra

I was overwhelmed with excitement when I discovered I could make screenshots of my videos, it just feels so very official! Thus, I had to write a "behind the scenes" post on the very first "self" video I made back in August, at the end of the Summer before I headed back to school.
I woke up at at 5:45 in the morning--and there were thunderstorms, which was absolutely devastating because this was the day I planned to do the music video! However, I ate breakfast as usual...drank my coffee...curled my hair....and then...the rain stopped! and the sun appeared! And after climbing down the muddy hill in the woods...many, many takes later...and lots of red lipstick...the video was filmed! And after several hours....of editing...and color grading...and text overlays...and uploading...(which explains why this description is ridiculously long!)...and way more coffee than I needed...the video is complete!!!!

This is not an original song--but a cover song of the one and only Doris Day. The song, "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps" Also known as (Quizas, Quizas, Quizas)...Fabulous. This is so exciting!!

FALL MOODBOARD...mayhem

With school starting back, I thought it was time to start thinking about Fall design! I quickly threw together a little mood board to get my mind focused towards the season, with photographs I had taken this past summer, as well as random bits of paper, colour, + fabric swatches. I made my little board outside, and finally (successfully) shot one image [pictured below] without our sweet little kittens jumping all around. The other attempts...just had to be put up here, because they are too fabulous. I think you will agree.

Colour palettes are warm + mod this season--mustard yellows mixed with mauv-ey purples and firehouse red...(this is a challenge for me...because I never really use red, I like the colour, but I do not usually wear it...so perhaps this is why I stay away from it?) I also love the presence of earthy tones--greens + beige...lovely.

My brain is already exploding with ideas! Let me know what you think;I hope you are inspired as well, and excited about the many possibilities of this upcoming season!!!
